The time has flown by for this class. I assume that is because of the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday. On top of that, my son has been sick since Tuesday, my husband since Thursday, and my daughter starting yesterday. I'm waiting for the plague to catch up with me! The doctor said we had to be away from my husband while he was sick so I have not had a computer since Wednesday night.
Although I am glad we have looked at our diverse classrooms in this course, I am still frustrated in the classroom because of such. In my opinion, it would be much easier on the teachers and especially the students if we grouped them based on ability. I thought about that a lot during this week of finals. We have so many who are bright and are not able to learn as much because of how much things have to be slowed down for other students in the class. I could do my job much better and feel better about it if we taught based on ability grouping.
